YOUR MISSION

You will support the development of the global Consumer PR strategy, reporting to the Global Consumer PR Lead.

THE JOURNEY

  • Lead the execution of Consumer PR programms at the local level to establish a regular cadence of media coverage in consumer and lifestyle publications. 
  • Be the consumer/lifestyle PR expert - with a strong knowledge of the international lifestyle media landscapes. 
  • Be strategic - to drive awareness in support of business goals and other PR programs.
  • Familiar with data analysis for the extraction of insights to guide Consumer PR activations. 
  • Be organized and develop programs that are scalable across markets. 
  • Be creative to help develop press releases, pitches, bylines, and various other written communications. 
  • Have experience in developing lifestyle storylines out of data.
  • Support local PR managers in driving consumer programs. 
  • Provide advice to spokespeople on communication skills and message delivery
  • Work closely with the Social Media/Content/Design team to amplify PR campaigns on Glovo’s social media channels. 
  • Be social and influencer management savvy to develop campaigns that leverage new and emerging digital media including social and influencers.
  • Be proactive in newsjacking when the opportunity arises.
  • Manage monthly measurement and analytics. 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Minimum 3-4 years of Consumer PR experience – in-house or agency, defining global strategies and adapting them to local markets mainly in Europe, Central & East Asia and Africa. 
  • Strong international media knowledge and extensive experience in dealing with high-level consumer media contacts in media outlets and agencies (PR, creative, influencers, production, etc.).
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the functioning of social media, both in the strategic part as a channel to amplify the Consumer PR strategy, as well as in the technical part of social KPIs, current formats or social paid techniques.
  • Track record of delivery on major consumer campaigns (ideally scalable ones).
  • Experience and creativity in working with data-driven stories.
  • Outstanding project management skills.
  • Flawless written and verbal English.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments.
  • A self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery.

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience coordinating agencies and local stakeholders from an in-house position.
  • Experience of working at a start-up or high-growth business.
  • Experience in developing brand visibility across social media channels and engaging with bloggers and influencers.
  • Professional command of other languages such as Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Romanian or Polish.
