MongoDB is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Global Deal Strategy function. This position will play a key role in partnering with Sales with their deals and opportunities, helping drive efficiencies. This role can be based out of our Austin office or remotely in the Central time zone region.

Responsibilities
  • Be a critical member of the global team that acts as a key enabler of deal formation and execution, focusing on minimizing sales cycle times while optimizing revenue, profitability, and/or market share based on business priorities
  • Assist with non-standard deal requests, driving cross-functional solution
  • Update key terms on quotes and review them to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure that all transactions adhere to internal revenue recognition policies and operational guidelines
  • Work with the global team to drive best practices to increase sales efficiency 
  • Drive best practices to increase sales efficiency and effectiveness via deal reviews, early checkpoints and enforcement of standard business practices and policies
Requirements
  • Business degree
  • 3+ years of software industry experience (Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations experience preferred)
  • Experience in dealing with cross-functional deal management across sales, finance and legal
  • Experience in contract management would be an advantage
  • Clear and thoughtful verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize competing deadlines
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel & Salesforce

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$59,000—$116,000 USD
