About the job
As a Manager on the Global Events team, you will play a pivotal role in orchestrating and executing innovative marketing strategies to drive successful events and enhance brand visibility. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with a creative edge, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding event experiences.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute customer events, including but not limited to our annual user conference SIGNAL.
- Coordinate all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, budget management, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate event strategies into broader marketing initiatives and meet our key results.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their needs and incorporate them into event planning.
- Serve as project lead, leading status meetings, pre-program walkthroughs, and program debriefs.
- Create and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
- Assist with post-event analysis to measure the success of each event against predetermined goals.
- Create and maintain event timelines, ensuring that all tasks and deadlines are tracked and met.
- Support overall Global Event Team initiatives.

Required:
- 3-5 years+ experience in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues from various departments.
Desired:
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Experience running events in NAMER, EMEA, APJ, and/or LATAM regions
Location
This role will be <remote, and based in Canada.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role, approximately 15% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in British Columbia: $81,000 - $101,200 (CAD)
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
