As part of the Global Performance Marketing Team, and reporting to the Senior Director of Performance Marketing, the Head of Global Paid Media will play a crucial role in delivering Trustpilot's global expansion.

We are seeking a passionate, data-driven digital marketer to lead our Paid Digital Marketing team. In this role, you will oversee a team of digital marketing specialists and spearhead the development and execution of the strategy for Paid Social and Paid Search on a global scale. By exploring new channels and emphasizing rigorous performance measurement, testing, and optimization, you will play an integral part in accelerating our growth. Additionally, you'll collaborate with various teams and agency partners, supporting multiple facets of Trustpilot's business.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop a comprehensive always-on paid media strategy on a global scale, integrating audience strategy and an optimal channel mix, with clearly defined success metrics and KPIs.
  • Manage and optimize paid search and media budgets within the overall marketing budget framework, with a focus on maximizing return on ad spend and overall ROI.
  • Cultivate relationships with global and regional marketing leaders to formulate clear campaign strategies.
  • Devise strategies to bolster omni-channel campaigns for global efficiency while accommodating regional nuances.
  • Oversee the day-to-day relationship with our global media agency.
  • Lead a team in planning and executing paid search, paid social, display, and sponsored content campaigns across various regions and audiences.
  • Take ownership of monthly/quarterly pipeline targets for all paid media programs.
  • Contribute to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range challenges and opportunities.
  • Explore and test partnerships with new vendors and channels to broaden reach and achieve optimal cost-per-acquisition.
  • Evaluate and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns against predefined goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Generate innovative growth strategies through digital marketing initiatives.
  • Identify key conversion and drop-off points and optimize user funnels.

Who you are:

  • 6+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • Solid background in recognizing intended audiences and conducting high-achieving paid online marketing strategies
  • Proven expertise in overseeing search engine marketing, paid social media strategies, and display advertising initiatives
  • Experience as a team lead or in a managerial role
  • Proficiency in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Deep understanding of optimal media and channel mix, with consideration for audience targeting
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and ad platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Google Ads, Facebook & LinkedIn Ads Manager, etc.)
  • Experience setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on major search and social platforms
  • Prior experience in developing forecasts and budgets
  • Ability to support a digital marketing team in executing campaigns
  • Proficiency in constructing reports and dashboards from scratch
  • Ability to leverage data to support decision-making; adept at developing hypotheses and testing potential solutions in the absence of data
  • Ability to develop and deliver clear, concise communication of complex issue
  • Global mindset with experience collaborating across offices in the US, UK, ANZ, and Copenhagen.
  • Proactive and creative problem-solver with a penchant for innovative solutions.
  • Bonus point: Working knowledge of SEO
