The role

HelloFresh is seeking a Global Lead, Incentives & Equity Compensation to design, implement, and manage programs that reward and motivate our global teams. Reporting to the Global Director, Compensation, this role will lead the strategy and administration of equity and variable pay programs across countries, partnering closely with HR, Finance, and Legal to ensure our programs are competitive, compliant, and aligned with HelloFresh’s pay philosophy and growth ambitions.

What you’ll do

Incentives & Variable Pay

  • Design, implement, and oversee annual and ad-hoc incentive programs (including sales, performance, and recognition plans) for corporate and local markets.
  • Partner with Finance and other stakeholders to model plan costs, track performance metrics, and ensure accurate, timely payouts.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of incentive structures and propose design enhancements to drive alignment with business goals.

Equity & Long-Term Rewards

  • Oversee the full equity lifecycle including grant, vesting, release, and reporting processes for global participants.
  • Partner with external brokers, Payroll, Finance, and Legal to ensure accurate recordkeeping, tax compliance, and SOX controls.
  • Support the annual equity planning and allocation cycle, prepare grant data for leadership and Board review, and lead equity education and communication initiatives.

Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain governance frameworks, audit processes, and documentation for all incentive and equity programs.
  • Ensure adherence to local labor, tax, and securities regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Support internal and external audits and maintain robust controls related to variable and stock-based compensation.

Analytics & Market Insights

  • Conduct market analyses and benchmarking for incentive and equity programs using external surveys and internal data.
  • Deliver modeling, cost forecasting, and reporting to inform compensation recommendations and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and leverage technology (e.g., Workday, equity platforms) for scale and accuracy.

Collaboration & Partnership

  • Partner with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure competitive, consistent, and compliant global reward practices.
  • Serve as the primary subject matter expert on incentive and equity compensation, providing consultative support to regional People teams.
  • Support the development of clear communication materials that help employees understand and engage with their rewards.

At a minimum, you have…
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive compensation experience, including incentive and equity program management in a global or multinational environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets for modeling and analytics.
    • Experience with HRIS and compensation tools (Workday Advanced Compensation preferred).
    • Familiarity with equity administration platforms and brokerage interfaces.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation abilities.
  • Preferred: Certified Equity Professional (CEP) and/or experience supporting deferred compensation programs.
