Global Learning & Development Operations Specialist

As the Global L&D Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting AKQA teams worldwide by contributing to the delivery and operational management of global L&D activities and other key people initiatives. You will contribute to building, innovating, and supporting the global L&D function and portfolio. You will also take ownership of ad-hoc projects from end-to-end, ensuring value is created for our people.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
- Provide operational support to the Senior Global L&D Manager, regional Learning Experience Designers (LXDs), and People Teams worldwide.
- Support deployment and ongoing operations for a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Maintain the LMS, including data integrity and troubleshooting; Coordinate with the team to upload content, create learning events and manage enrollments.
- Manage the global learning licence allocations, ensure efficient use of learning resources by tracking and optimizing utilization.
- Collaborate with regional representatives to analyse data, identify learning trends, and provide insights and recommendations for programme effectiveness and improvement.
- Manage the global learning Slack channel #akqa-discover.; Working collaboratively to maintain a content roadmap, researching, creating, and sharing resources as needed.
- Define, track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) across programmes, providing data-driven insights into programme success.
- Lead and execute ad-hoc projects to deliver value for AKQA employees globally, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Own end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor setup, purchase orders and monitoring payments, ensuring smooth and compliant procurement processes.
QUALITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS
- 2+ years of experience in a learning or operations role; experience in a professional services environment preferred.
- 2+ years of experience working with an LMS platform to support learning objectives.
- 2+ years of experience with content authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, and Adobe Captivate) and publishing content to SCORM/AICC/xAPI standards.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to work independently, prioritise multiple tasks, and proactively seek support when needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including proficiency in using Slack and Microsoft Teams, with the ability to work effectively with team members across the globe in a distributed team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing data sets, analysing and summarising data.
- Experience with or willingness to learn Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights, analyse results, and communicate findings via Powerpoint and Keynote presentations.
- A passion for L&D, with a strong interest in exploring and applying emerging technologies and AI-based tools, with a proactive approach to exploring their application in L&D.
