Payoneer is looking for a Global Licensing Governance Senior Manager, reporting directly to the VP in the Global Licensing Office, to join an extremely fast-growing global Fintech business. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing and actively managing cross functional efforts as per new regulatory licences strategy - this position plays a pivotal role in ensuring global alignment and timely execution.

 

What’s the job?

  • Support the design, implementation and management of the Governance Framework for existing and new licensed entities, assuring the thoughtful global alignment of regulatory requirements, staff functions and programs with appreciation of regional requirements;
  • Help to concentrate the effort and enable the holistic oversight of regional regulatory initiatives that can be paired with needs of other jurisdictions or enhanced to the global frameworks to ensure efficiency, alignment and collaboration;
  • Facilitate ongoing interface between regulated entities and cross functional stakeholders (for example Product, Business, Compliance, Legal etc.) with regard to regulatory requirements, commonalities, variabilities, educate stakeholders accordingly;
  • Manage the company's new global regulatory licences program, drive the end-to-end licensing process, collaborating with external stakeholders and cross functional internal teams to include project managers, subject matter experts, decision makers etc. while assuring the execution of specific deliverables required to secure each license;
  • Collaborate with functional departments to enable the smooth integration of new licensing requirements with BAU and other licenses / regulatory programs, if needed;
  • Support Regulatory and Legal Team in preparation and submission of licence applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all required information; Support cross functional stakeholders collaboration in challenges related to new license process, drive issue resolution and escalate and report timely, if needed;
  • Support VP of GLO in planning strategies to select next priority jurisdictions and licence types, optimize the licensing procedure and support the development and maintenance of a comprehensive understanding of the organization's licensing needs and requirements;
  • Foster a continuous improvement mindset, proactively identify opportunities to streamline the licensing process and governance framework and implement efficient workflows;
  • Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive information related to licensing activities;
  • Lead with clarity and energy, coaching for successful delivery of governance enablement processes and support.

 

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business administration, compliance, regulatory licensing, regulatory affairs - advanced degree is a plus.
  • Previous experience (7+ years) in managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects, change management processes or governance related initiatives, Compliance, Regulatory affairs, or as a Licensing Manager, preferably within fintech sectors.
  • Proven track record of acquiring new financial regulatory licenses. Strong understanding of regulatory agencies' processes and requirements for licence applications, renewals, and compliance.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and operational skills, with a knack for creating and implementing efficient processes and logistical strategies, ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, both independently and cross-functionally.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the capability to articulate legal and regulatory obligations to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make sound judgments related to licensing matters.
  • Strong ethical conduct and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude
  • A growth-mindset that enables creativity in thinking, robust analytical skills, an ability to deal with ambiguity, management of changing priorities, and consistency in learning from others.
