Role Overview:

At Elastic, our ecosystem is at the center of our growth strategy. The Global Partner Marketing team owns the marketing strategy for our global partners and its execution through a wide variety of marketing programs and activities across the world. With a global presence and a commitment to innovation, this role is ideal for a dynamic, inspired and committed individual to lead the strategy with our Managed Service Providers (MSP) and Global System Integrators (GSI) partners. What You Will Do:

In the role of Global Partner Marketing Specialist, you will be at the forefront of developing and driving a comprehensive marketing strategy tailored specifically for our MSP and GSI partners, working closely with cross-functional teams. As the primary marketing point of contact between Elastic and all of our MSP partners, driving initiatives that cultivate long-term partnerships and engage customers to drive pipeline and accelerate our partner business growth globally. You will envision and deliver impactful marketing campaigns and events while exploring new tactics and channels to optimize performance. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of the intricacies of the MSP landscape, navigate sophisticated partnerships, and identifying and capitalizing on strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include

Design, implement, and manage a robust marketing strategy targeted towards MSPs and GSIs partners, using industry-specific insights and standard methodologies to increase engagement and lead generation.

Work closely with product, partner and sales teams to develop marketing materials, campaigns, and programs that effectively showcase the value proposition of our offerings to MSPs, GSIs and their clients.

Stay abreast of evolving industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements that impact the partner sector, providing actionable insights to the internal teams for informed decision-making.

Develop and deliver training programs and resources to educate MSP partners on our products, services, and the value they bring to their customers.

Assist with the development of online and offline materials including press releases, customer use cases, event briefs, emails, landing pages, blogs and sales enablement.

Regularly assess and analyze the effectiveness of marketing initiatives targeted at MSPs and make data-driven adjustments to optimize performance.

Act as a trusted advisor and advocate for our partners within the organization, ensuring their feedback and needs are addressed and integrated into the overall marketing and product development strategies.

What you will bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, sales
  • Proven experience in partner marketing, specifically with MSPs or GSIs, demonstrating a strong understanding of their business models, struggles, and operational challenges.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and social skills, with the ability to build and cultivate strategic partnerships with partners based on trust, visibility, and mutual success
  • A super organization to lead multiple projects at once with various team while making sure they are on time and on budget
  • A love for data that will encourage constant analysis and reporting
  • Ability to translate technical information into compelling marketing content, enabling MSPs to effectively communicate our offerings to their clients.
  • A keen eye for detail to manage budget, POs, MDF reimbursements
  • Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, leveraging key performance indicators to measure the success of marketing initiatives and drive strategic decision-making.
  • A proactive, results-driven mindset, coupled with a strong sense of adaptability and resilience in dynamic and rapidly changing environments.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
