About the role

We are in search of an experienced Global Payroll Manager to join our dedicated team on a contract basis. As the Global Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of a new global payroll system and spearheading the centralization of our payroll processes.

This Global Payroll Manager,  reports to Senior Director, Global Payroll & Benefits.

About You

• 8+ years of experience working with U.S & global payroll
• Experience processing payroll in APAC and/or EMEA 
• Deep understanding of applicable Federal, State, and local payroll and related tax laws, regulations and statutes.
• Experience with Workday and/or CloudPay
• Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUp, Pivot tables, managing large datasets)

A day in the life of our Global Payroll Manager

Oversee Global Payroll Operations: Take charge of end-to-end payroll processes for employees spanning multiple countries, ensuring the accurate execution of payroll transactions.

Lead Implementation of Global Payroll Platform: Play a pivotal role in the implementation of our new global payroll system.

Collaborate with Local HRBPs: Partner with local HR Business Partners to manage, review, and process international payroll effectively.

Contribute to Workday Payroll System: Participate actively in Workday Payroll system upgrades and maintenance, aiding in the upkeep and testing of payroll controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data.

Update Payroll Procedures and Policies: Maintain and update the organization's payroll procedures and policies. Collaborate with the OSV payroll provider to troubleshoot payroll issues, review tax registrations, employee year-end tax documents, and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual filings and reporting.

Support Management in Growth Initiatives: Provide support to the management team on various ad hoc and growth-oriented projects, including initiatives related to scalability and acquisitions.

The Pay Range for this position is listed. Actual pay will vary based on factors including, but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Crunchyroll’s Total Rewards offerings for employees.
