As a Global Payroll Specialist III at Vimeo, you will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes across Vimeo’s global locations, including UK, Singapore, Australia and Canada. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant payroll operations while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism. This role involves collaborating with various internal departments and external partners to support our global workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage payroll processing for employees in various countries, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Enter, review and verify payroll data, including hours worked, deductions, and taxes, to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with international payroll regulations, tax laws, and labor legislation to ensure compliance in all regions.
  • Implement payroll policies, procedures, and best practices to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to review payroll-related tax filings and reports as required by local authorities.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to gather employee data and resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Manage relationships with external payroll service providers and vendors to ensure seamless payroll operations.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline payroll processes and enhance efficiency; participate and/or lead system upgrades and improvements related to payroll software and tools.
  • Generate & maintain regular payroll reports and analytics to support decision-making processes.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees promptly and professionally.
  • Assist with payroll onboarding for new hires and provide guidance on payroll-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • 4 or more years of experience in international payroll, preferably in UK, Singapore, Australia and/or Canada, experience in Israel and India a plus
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll regulations and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in payroll systems (e.g., UKG, Vistra) and the Microsoft Office/Google Suite
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
