The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

We are looking for a leader to take over our global Professional Services teams, operating in a highly dynamic and ambitious environment. You will work with Implementation Specialists, Engagement Managers, and Integration Specialists to develop the leadership and professional capabilities of your team. Also, you will partner with internal product management and sales teams to optimize the customer journey.

In this role, you will hire and develop top delivery talent, contribute to best practices, and enhance our Professional Services body of knowledge by harvesting and integrating innovations and lessons learned from the field. You will support implementation projects and contribute to sales efforts to position Professional Services initiatives to our most demanding customers.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • You design, roll out, and continuously improve all billable Professional Services focused on the demand and needs of our customers.
  • You develop the organizational structure and Professional Services offerings to meet customer requirements and the continuously expanding portfolio of products and apps.
  • You manage the Professional Services bookings pipeline, revenue forecast, and capacity planning required to successfully execute the yearly business plan.
  • You lead, coach, and mentor an international team of Team Leads, (Sr) Leads, Implementation and Integration Specialists, and Engagement Managers.
  • You own the planning, budgeting and hiring process for your function and are responsible for the execution and adherence of annual revenue, utilization, and margin targets.
  • You work closely with senior leaders across Personio on strategic direction and improvements of customer engagement models.
  • You represent Personio towards the market and customers and convey our mission and plans.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • You have successfully scaled and orchestrated Professional Services and Delivery functions in a fast growing SaaS environment.
  • You bring a deep understanding for B2B SaaS model and how to best drive activation, time-to-value and customer satisfaction in balance with cost.
  • You have successfully demonstrated leadership skills with direct responsibility for managing and developing first-line leaders.
  • You are a strong relationship-builder with customers and partners, holding them accountable and managing expectations effectively.
  • You effectively collaborated with senior stakeholders and coached your team to do the same (for example bringing customer topics to key strategic/management decisions through convincing communication, building compelling cases for investment areas and new ways of working).
  • You are an effective communicator with fluent written and spoken English. German and/or Spanish are a plus.
  • You are willing to travel as needed.
