Teads is in search of an experienced and  dynamic sales leader to accelerate our growth in the travel sector with particular emphasis on building and implementing the strategy for step changing our business with tourism boards.

With Teads evolution to full funnel, and now CTV, we have a unique opportunity to leverage these solutions to best meet the needs of both advertisers and agencies. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a deep understanding of the tourism/travel ecosystem, outstanding communication abilities, and a track record of accomplishments in digital media sales (especially CTV).

You will report directly to the VP, Travel, and your role will be instrumental in contributing to the senior team's development of an advertiser-first strategy. 

==== Responsibilities ====

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Tourism Boards who could benefit from the Teads CTV and full funnel offering
  • Activation of the Tourism strategy - Train and Support Local Teads sales teams in how to operationalise this strategy with both clients and agencies 
  • Client Acquisition: Prospect, identify, and acquire new advertising clients within the tourism sector with the local markets
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, mutually beneficial long term relationships with clients, based on understanding and ensuring their advertising needs are met.
  • Revenue Growth: Achieve and exceed sales targets by consistently identifying and closing new advertising opportunities. Cross-selling across the Teads portfolio will also be required where opportunities arise. 
  • Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to provide valuable insights and strategies for clients. Act as a true expert in your field both internally and externally.
  • Sales Collateral: Develop market-specific sales collateral and marketing materials that showcase the value of our travel media platform allowing the local sales teams to contribute towards tourism board growth in their markets.

  • Strong understanding of digital media, especially CTV
  • Strong Understanding of the travel and tourism industry 
  • Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision-makers
  • Proven collaborative experience to build long term sustainable partnership growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Proven track record of delivering results and ability to convert business from other media channels 
  • Willingness to travel (globally) and work across different time zones 
  • Passionate – high energy and enthusiasm
  • A self-starter – creative, resourceful and adaptable, able to find solutions to problems whilst delivering a high standard of work
