About our Workforce Management (WFM) Team:

Workforce Management supports our Customer Operation, helping us to know where and when we need to support our Customers. The Strategic Workforce Planning team enables the COps team to scale effectively: ensuring demand changes are scoped and delivered safely.  They are a trusted partner, empowering COps and WFM to effectively manage risks in capacity and are the source of truth for headcount, budget and hiring plans.

What you’ll be working on:

  • Lead the assessment, prioritisation and documentation of opportunities that influence COps headcount requirements.
  • Continue to build upon and maintain the accuracy of the Workforce and Forecasting Attributes Mappings, ensuring both our demand and supply data is up to date and accurate.  
  • Partner on and support with the scoping of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational structure, processes, and ways of working.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across wider teams e.g. Delivery, Strategy and Product, to understand and model FTE/hiring impact of new processes, marketing activity or rule changes.
  • Ensure any new or changing lines of business are appropriately scoped and delivered through the planning process.
  • Monitor the implementation of changes to validate that agreed business objectives are met.
  • Hold change inputters accountable for delivery, enabling them to take corrective action as needed.
  • Supports with the delivery of high impact projects relating to service or COps efficiency gains.
  • Document risks, actions and plans, ensuring that accountable owners deliver on time.
  • Act compliantly and ensure all risks have the required oversight when implementing solutions.

You should apply if you are/have:

  • Advanced skills in workforce planning and organisation with the ability to re-prioritise workload and be able to effectively deal with change at short notice. 
  • Good understanding of 'Customer Operations' is desirable. 
  • Advanced skills in planning and organisation with the ability to re-prioritise workload and be able to effectively deal with change at short notice Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Appreciation of data modelling skills such as SQL and the willingness to develop them further.
  • Excellent English written & verbal communication skills.
  • Values driven approach in line with Monzo’s core values.
  • Experience in identifying performance trends using data to solve problems and identify opportunities.
  • Ability to provide specific actionable feedback to a wide range of audiences and levels.
  • Ability to work well independently & work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise time sensitive workload.
  • Fluent in MacOS, Slack, and GSuite tools and the ability to adapt to learn new systems and processes.
