The Role:

The Grocery Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring that in-store grocery operations guarantee a seamless order experience for our customers bringing the best grocery partners in the UAE to Deliveroo.

Main Responsibilities:

• Independently and proactively diagnose, resolve and report on areas of concern for partner operations across multiple stakeholders, testing solutions to address them and quickly determining how to scale them with a systematic approach
• Where relevant, be responsible for expanding existing and rolling out new partners while ensuring high operational performance for new site launches
• Work with the Product team to champion the voice of the partner in the development of new features, and drive the rollout and implementation of new features with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Attend partner Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews to provide operational updates and understand key commercial priorities for partners
• Leverage relationships when aligning business outcomes with partners, including effective negotiation skills and rigorous and robust operational proposals

Requirements:

• BSc/BA in business or a related field is preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of grocery experience
• Self-starter capable of driving yourself to your targets every month
• A fantastic communicator with a "get it done" mindset, well-organized and efficient
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
