As a Group Creative Director, you are a strong creative voice of the agency and holistically lead large teams to creative excellence, account growth, project delivery and talent development. You are a master storyteller – knowing what sells, showing what delights, and flexing creative limits with ideas that scare and enthrall. You know how to make the complex simple, the digital, human and the work the best it can be.

You are a driving force. You maintain momentum. You are proactively directing and inspiring your team to achieve and succeed. You are optically and mentally present. You solve problems and overcome challenges with poise and confidence. You advocate for your client, your team, and for the agency.

You will:

  • Drive creative discipline, through operational expertise and work to improve a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Push ambition and innovation of the work and reshape briefs as necessary.
  • Lead the team to conceive and develop creative that fulfills the expectation of the brief.
  • Write clear, compelling copy that supports brief objectives and resonates with target audiences.
  • Partner with other disciplines to arrive at great insights and build amazing digital solutions.
  • Effectively communicate creative ideas and strategies to all project stakeholders. Lead and partner with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Pitch to high-profile senior clients with an understanding of their motivations and objectives.
  • Integrate with partner agencies and manage collaborations with external parties.
  • Get work live, overseeing the execution process to ensure creative excellence.
  • Set and meet expectations for deliverables, estimations, and project plans.
  • Develop, implement and monitor quality standards across all creative disciplines.
  • Provide regular team mentorship and constructive feedback.
  • Develop, monitor, and modify creative department staffing strategies and plans, including team compensation and performance, skills, training, and mentorship.

You have:

  • 6+ years experience as a creative director or creative lead in an agency environment – brainstorming, creative brief development, creative platform development, campaign development, and creative execution.
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices, styles, and formats.
  • A love for digital. Social, web, the metaverse, AI, gaming. All of it.
  • An understanding of the full breadth of digital platforms and solutions and how to steer creative outcomes across the full ecosystem.
  • A drive to stay on top of cultural trends, technology developments and audience insights as they pertain to the work.
  • The desire to bring your team up with you. You lead by example. You are a natural mentor, guiding with empathy and inspiration.
  • Proven aptitude for quick, creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines.
  • The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively juggle demand.
