Group Head of Finance
📣 A bit about the role.
We’re looking for a Group Head of Finance to join our squad at an exciting time in our ongoing growth journey with further international and category expansion on the horizon. This role will suit a proactive candidate who is ready to operate at an exceptionally high level, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and eager to be part of a business where they can have a tangible and positive impact.
You will lead, coach and develop a team of 10, oversee all key accounting and reporting activities with a focus on effective financial management, ensuring a robust control environment that allows us to scale sustainably. You management responsibility will include our Operations Finance sub-team based in our UK manufacturing facility.
This role will report into our CFO but will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders across the business. There will be a clear development plan in place to support you on your journey to Finance Director.
In this role, you can expect to:
- Be given a high level of responsibility from day one for the delivery of internal & external financial reporting
- Manage the group balance sheet and support on key capital allocation decisions
- Not only be responsible for the numbers, but the actions & behaviours they are driving; e.g.:
- Work with different business leaders to ensure they correct potential deviations from budget on cost or top line, both proactively and retrospectively
- Oversee delivery of key profitability enhancement initiatives & working capital improvement projects
- Proactively identify key business risks and be tasked with exploring ways of mitigating them
- Run point with our treasury strategy
- Support our international expansion plans & GTM acceleration projects
- Be in charge of the primary Finance systems and oversee a roadmap of streamlining & AI-led automation to ensure our processes scale and that we stay ahead of the growth curve
👋 A bit about you.
- 6+ years CIMA/ACCA/ACA/equivalent post-qualified experience
- Experience managing an audit process end-to-end or an audit background
- Strong financial control and reporting background from within a commercial context
- Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills, including an ability to explain technical concepts to non-Finance colleagues
- Great at managing change, adapting to new situations & solving problems on the fly
- Experience leading a team, providing coaching and mentorship to support their development
- Solution-orientated: you constantly think about how people, processes & systems can be more effective over the long term
- Proven ability to horizon scan & spot problems before they arise

Your application will stand out if you have experience with SAP/SAP B1 or you have experience in an FMCG, subscription or manufacturing business.
Note: This team works 3 days per week from our West London office (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday) and 2 days from home.
