Group Strategy Director
As a Group Strategy Director, you provide strategic leadership and guidance to your team in finding purpose-driven and inspired work through insights. You are the senior-most Insights & Planning (I&P) representative on your team, with the overall quality of strategy work on all projects and accounts on your shoulders—but you’ve got that covered. Planning complex and challenging projects helps you gain an intimate understanding of the client, their competitors, and key industry trends. You can easily communicate these findings to multidisciplinary teams, from Creative to Technology.
You live and breathe insights into the client’s business, their competitors, and their customers. You are a subject matter expert in at least two I&P disciplines—including business analysis, qualitative consumer research, web analytics, and information architecture—but a well-balanced working knowledge across all disciplines is just as welcome.
You will:
- Lead multiple strategy teams to integrate performance marketing into broader business strategies, ensuring long-term ROI
- Lead the development and growth of performance marketing programs, technologies and opportunities
- Lead the development of inter-departmental performance marketing strategies
- Develop frameworks for scalable performance marketing strategies acrosscampaigns, projects and accounts
- Create performance marketing guidelines and ways of working
- Contribute to the development of performance marketing standards across the agency
- Advanced skills in aligning multiple teams and projects
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and third-party teams
You have:
- 8-10+ years of experience in CPG performance marketing with a proven track record of driving measurable results across multiple channels (PPC, SEO, display, social media, etc)
- Ability to articulate complex strategies and concepts clearly and persuasively to clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams
- Strong skills in building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, with a focus on understanding client needs and delivering exceptionalcampaigns
- Deep analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, generate insights, and make informed decisions to optimize marketing performance
- Experience in leading, mentoring, and developing high-performing marketing strategy teams, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with creatives and subject matter experts to turn concepts into compelling campaigns

Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.Salary Range$180,000—$200,000 USD
