Growth Lead (m/f/x)
We are looking for a highly resourceful, entrepreneurial, and motivated Growth Lead to spearhead the launch of our newest brand in Germany, Denmark or Sweden: Factor, a healthy, ready-to-eat meal subscription service.
As the Factor Growth lead, you will be accountable for the entire marketing performance for Factor in Germany. You will act as a champion of the Factor brand, and will have the autonomy to determine how to generate the best results for your market. This is a highly entrepreneurial and impactful role which provides the opportunity to define the marketing strategy for a new business, be hands-on in executing that strategy, and build the next big online food brand in Europe.
Reporting into the Factor EU CMO, you’ll be part of a cross-functional team, working closely with the local HelloFresh DACH team as well as the Factor EU team. As the Growth Lead you are:
- Accountable for all channels for Factor Germany, including joint accountability with Factor Sr. OM Manager for central channels (online marketing channels incl. Paid Social, SEA/SEO, Native, Display, Video, CRO/UX initiatives; Reactivations, Referrals)
- Responsible for the strategy and execution of the local channels (Influencers, Partnerships, Direct Mail & GCF, Direct Sales, Podcasts)
As the Growth lead, you will have the chance to work with us in our headquarters office Berlin along with some flexibility to work remotely in a week.
Start date: September 2024. We would prefer if you could join us sooner to be part of the rocketship from Day 0 as we gear towards launching very soon.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining overall marketing strategy, including budgeting and target setting, across key local channels.
- Directly executing your marketing strategy across these channels (e.g. setup, partner outreach, coordination with local agencies, etc).
- Content QA: developing the voice of the Factor brand in Germany in close collaboration with the Factor Marketing Comms & PR lead; ensuring quality across all copy, particularly in marketing and web/app.
- Collaborating with the central Factor EU and Centre of Excellence teams for online marketing channels
- Bring a local market perspective, staying up to date on consumer behavior and marketing trends to inform the overall marketing strategy
- Overall performance management and analysis across all channels
- People management responsibility, with a Jr. Content Manager reporting into you
This is a highly entrepreneurial role, and requires a resourceful, ‘scrappy’ individual who will find creative solutions and strive for fast experimentation and execution over perfection. This role is all about iterating toward product-market-fit as quickly as possible!
You:
- Have a minimum of 5 years experience in Growth/Consulting/Strategy/Early stage startup roles, ideally in the areas of food or technology
- Have experience in performance marketing across a broad mix of channels
- Are a strategic thinker with strong prioritization skills - you are able to define an overall growth strategy and prioritize channels and marketing activities accordingly
- Have strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills - you are able to leverage existing organizational expertise and convince different teams to work together
- Are able to develop clear hypotheses for when a different approach should be taken
- Are able to understand and apply local market consumer behavior and trends (especially related to food, technology, and commerce) to inform your growth strategy
- Have strong analytical skills - you have a robust understanding of levers to manage performance and use data to drive informed decisions
- Are a native German speaker with a strong proficiency in English
