The Growth Marketing team at Airbnb is at the intersection of marketing, engineering and data science. Our work is imperative to driving the top line of the entire company. As a Growth Marketing Lead, Pilots, you will play a critical role in identifying new channels and avenues for business growth at Airbnb, as well as incubating and managing new growth programs from concept to execution.  Your work will be critical to driving growth in our community of guests and Hosts, with a particular focus on global expansion and new products and services.

The Difference You Will Make:

You will be responsible for end-to-end execution of both new and existing growth initiatives at Airbnb, from strategy alignment, to capturing business requirements, to planning, delivery, and evaluation of performance against KPIs. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, Brand and Creative to set and exceed aggressive KPI targets. 

A Typical Day: 

  • Develop and maintain a roadmap of new growth/marketing initiatives at Airbnb, with a focus on both global and regional efforts.
  • Build robust, clear and comprehensive business cases to present new ideas to leadership.
  • Execute flawlessly against a deployment schedule of demand driving product and marketing initiatives, report on results and recommend next steps on scaling.
  • Work closely with regional cross-functional partners to action on demand/ supply insights and identify local initiatives and partnerships that can drive outsized business growth.
  • Meet with external partners; negotiate deals and maintain ongoing relationships.
  • Own project management and cross-functional program and campaign development workflow with dedicated Product, Engineering, Analytics, Data Science, and Creative teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with Marketing Ops and Marketing Technology teams by having a deep understanding of our tech and tooling needs and working with operations to deliver solutions to fit unique needs
  • Conduct regular, extensive experimentation to facilitate rapid learning and application of any insights.
  • Own comprehensive daily, weekly, monthly reporting of all relevant program KPIs and influence the build of the right dashboards to track and socialize performance.
  • Present updates, findings and recommendations to leadership through decks and in-person presentations.

Your Expertise:

We are seeking an exceptionally high performing individual contributor with the following skills and expertise:

  • 10+ years of experience in Growth Marketing and/or related functions within a consumer-facing, fast-paced ecommerce company.  Experience in digital marketing, partnerships, business development, affiliate marketing and product management are all pluses. 
  • Solid track record of successfully managing and executing large-scale, complex initiatives designed to drive business growth, including experience  working with teams in different regions and a high-level understanding of regional growth opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of the technical aspects of growth marketing: marketing tech stack and data pipelines, tracking, testing, analytics, etc.  Should be extremely comfortable with Excel (functions, pivots, etc.), and proficient with writing and executing SQL queries.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of comfort interpreting results and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous problems and processes and proactively chart clear and effective frameworks and processes to move initiatives forward.
  • Strong fluency in financial metrics, with ability to create financial models and forecasts to drive analysis and go-forward business recommendations.

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$155,000—$195,000 USD
