Job Description

As a Growth Strategy Lead for our Mealkit Brands you will be primarily responsible for driving new customer growth and profitability. You will do this by ideating, sizing, prioritising and executing a broad range of initiatives. Initiatives will be a blend of opportunities unique to ANZ that we ideate locally as well as best practices shared by our global headquarters

This role is an exciting opportunity for someone who is strategically and commercially minded, can problem solve from first principles and with expert stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve performance and can rally support for initiatives across multiple teams by maintaining a strong rapport with stakeholders

You will be reporting to the Director of Growth Strategy for Mealkits in ANZ and you will have 2 direct reports. 

You & your team will…

  • Own the strategy and roadmap for profitable growth of new customers
  • Identify, test and roll out creative and innovative opportunities (e.g. new customer segments to target, new creative types to test and landing page optimisation)
  • Review and report on key business metrics relating to new customers, deepdive into impactful trends and gaps to target and identify actions to take.
  • Drive the annual and quarterly marketing budgeting process to output ambitious yet realistic conversion, spend and ROI targets. This will involve close collaboration with the finance team, global and local marketing channel owners.
  • Optimise the allocation of budget between channels based growth and profitability trends and opportunity areas.
  • Incorporate creatives and messaging aligned with quarterly brand themes into channel activity (alongside ‘always on’ creatives). 
  • Meet regularly with teams and stakeholders to get visibility on upcoming initiatives and ensuring  they are designed to maximise the commercial benefits from new customers.
  • Facilitate decisions on whether to roll-out initiatives by calculating the incremental commercial benefits they are likely to drive using data-points such as A/B test results and analysis from past campaigns.
  • Maintain artifacts to ensure clarity within the broader business on all activity and processes related to new customers (e.g. a roadmap of all key initiatives).
  • Champion our mealkit brands with business stakeholders.

You have…

  • 6+ years of professional experience in top tier management consulting or growth marketing (direct to consumer preferred) or corporate/business unit strategy.
  • 1+ years of people management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide, coach and motivate direct reports towards business objectives.
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in business, finance or STEM discipline.
  • Experience and proficiency in financial/operational modeling and strong analytical skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong rapport with multiple stakeholder groups and influence relevant teams into directing time and effort towards initiatives.
  • Experience and Proficiency in managing projects end to end to ensure initiatives are launched in a timely and error-free way. 
  • Comprehensive understanding and use of Google sheets/Excel functions and Powerpoint/Google Slides. 
  • Able to quickly learn new technologies, tools and processes.

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia
