Sales Enablement is delivered through the Global Sales organization and, as a team, reports to the Chief Revenue Officer. The team’s responsibilities include implementing and evolving our sales methodology, delivering relevant training programs, providing targeted coaching, optimizing sales resources, and equipping leadership with actionable insights.
Our existing programs have consistently had an overwhelmingly positive impact on the sales organization and the company as a whole. They are frequently cited as the best our sales professionals have seen in their careers.
The Sales Enablement Program Manager, who reports to the Director, Sales Enablement, is an integral part of the team designed to strategically improve the performance of the Go To Market organization.
This will be achieved through the precise management of projects surrounding:- Ongoing global training programs for the GTM organization to help onboard & develop sellers in the field
- Global training programs and eLearning curriculum for the sales organization at large (e.g., monthly GTM Academy, Onboarding Pre-work, Advanced Role-Specific Sales training)
- Leveraging our suite of Enablement tools to enhance the onboarding and training programs across the org
- In addition to managing key projects, a Program Manager is also expected to contribute significantly to the design, development, and iteration of new and existing training content.
- Familiarize yourself with our business model, organizational structure, sales collateral, and the GTM organization/leadership team
- Attend GTM Academy to learn our technology, what we sell, and how we sell it
- Gain competency with our sales enablement tools, Highspot, MindTickle, and our content development process and tools
- Shadow & participate in the execution of a key, global, in-person training program to gain an understanding of the process and teams involved
- Own GTM Academy and foundational learning for all GTM new hires
- Be a major contributor to content development for a net new training (eLearning or in-person)
- Work with sales leadership to understand gaps and prioritize programs to develop and execute
- Collaborate with enablement peers, the worldwide sales organization, sales leaders, and executives to ensure the quality and execution of enablement programs are timely, relevant, and impactful
- Lead strategic initiatives impacting the worldwide sales organization primarily focused on ramp
- Design and build content for and execute customized enablement programs
- Be a leader on the Sales Enablement team, with a deep understanding of our product offerings, growth opportunities, and our culture and values
- Be known as a Subject Matter Expert in both sales and technology at MongoDB
- Leverage technology, tools, and AI/ML to accelerate productivity
- 5+ years of sales enablement or project management experience
- 1+ years of customer-facing experience a plus (e.g., sales, customer success, consulting)
- Ability to manage global, highly visible projects and timelines that span multiple teams and multiple resources
- A high degree of organization and attention to detail
- A relentless drive to ensure the best possible product is produced and pride of ownership
- Exceptional communication skills in the areas of writing, editing, and presenting
- Proven track record of building engaging and consumable training content optimized for retention
- Self-starter mentality with a track record of producing exceptional work with minimal supervision
- Ability to network inside the company and influence stakeholders to drive collaboration and program excellence
- Experience with sales CMS and LMS tools (Chorus, Highspot and MindTickle are a plus)
- Exposure to SaaS business model, MongoDB or NoSQL databases is a plus
