As a GTM Solutions Product Marketing Manager, you drive key Go-to-Market initiatives with top partners, strategically bundling offerings to enhance differentiation. Support the sales team by providing segment-specific assistance to address customer challenges with Okta's comprehensive solutions across our product lines - workforce identity and customer identity. Additionally, assist in persona development, sales enablement, content creation, and market intelligence to strengthen Okta's position in the identity and access management market.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Partner marketing support: Work closely with our partner marketing organization to drive key GTM initiatives with our top partners and alliances. Understand the top partners that strengthen our offering and strategically bundle our solutions with partners to increase differentiation.
Sales strategy: Provide segment-specific support to the sales team to help solve customer problems with the broader Okta solutions set.
Persona development support: Understand the buyer personas of this go-to-market motion, empathizing with the business challenges and outcomes, while testing our value proposition to emerging personas and users.
Sales enablement: Communicate the solutions' value proposition to the field teams and develop sales tools that support the selling process of our solutions.Content development: Create marketing and sales collateral, such as whitepapers, datasheets, executive presentations, etc.Market intelligence: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the identity and access management market space, products and service offerings, including overall value proposition, features, functionality, competitive landscape and the verticals and use cases where they are relevant. What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of combined product management or product marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, IaaS, and/or security software.
- Knowledge of cyber security and an understanding of how different security technologies fit into a broader cyber security ecosystem.
- Track record developing compelling and differentiated messaging for large organizations with complex technology environments.
- Proven ability to engage with technical and business audiences alike, building empathy, understanding their unique challenges and motivations, and demonstrating the value of our products.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- A problem-solver mentality, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- The passion and energy required to redefine a category
Even better:
- Practitioner knowledge and/or experience in the security domain, or
- Practical experience with Identity solutions and selling Identity to security professionals
- Comfortable marketing to mix of analysts, IT and security audiences

Below is the annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual OTE, which is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable) and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:$105,000—$175,000 USD The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:$117,000—$197,000 USDWhat you can look forward to as an Full-Time Okta employee!
