About the job

Within Allianz Partners, the simplesurance team is working on preparing Allianz for the future by driving the development of new digital customer journeys and state-of-the-art digital integration capabilities across the company’s products and services. You will join a brand new team, combining the strengths of Allianz Partners with the dynamics of an InsurTech in order to build the Global Connectivity Player of Allianz Group.

In your role as Head of Delivery, you will be in charge of defining Allianz Partners’ digital agenda and strategy for your area of responsibility. You will liase with senior business stakeholders as well as external business partners to identify required capabilities across the business and shape these into a future-proof, scalable and cost-efficient digital strategy. You will manage a team of Product Owners who are leading the delivery of front-end applications and APIs in Agile, cross-functional teams. You will bring your experience, leadership skills, fresh ideas and creative thinking to create amazing digital products and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of various digital assets (APIs, front-ends) and manage a team of Product Owners; including removing of impediments, coaching & development of the team
• Develop a digital strategy & roadmap, aiming at re-usability and interoperability of assets developed
• Define overall product vision for digital assets in scope and aligning key priorities with senior business stakeholders
• Manage resource and budget planning for external development bench
• Ensure all pre-requirements for launch of new features and solutions are met by the teams and aligned with stakeholders, and support and prepare discussions with business partners

Bring to the Team

• 7+ years professional experience in managing, developing and running digital solutions, ideally in a multi-country, multi-channel and multi-product context
• Strong managerial skills and experienced in leading multiple large development teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional and international environment
• Strong conceptual thinking and ability to shape business needs into a concrete and future-proof IT strategy
• Highly motivated, dynamic and self-steering
• Trained in Agile / Scrum framework
• Advanced in Excel, Power Point and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence and MS Teams
• Fluency in business English
