We’re looking for a visionary, systems-minded design leader to drive the user experience for our full suite of supplier-facing tools—including Partner Home and internal merchandising platforms. You’ll lead a team of 20+ product designers focused on simplifying complex workflows, enabling automation, and elevating our platform design maturity. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, analytics, operations, and business stakeholders to shape the future of how suppliers work with Wayfair.

What You’ll Do
  • Set a clear design strategy across the full supplier lifecycle—from onboarding and catalog management to analytics and growth tooling.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of product designers, building a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive hands-on execution on key strategic initiatives that simplify supplier workflows, reduce operational friction, and deliver measurable business value.
  • Explore and apply AI tools and workflows to enhance design efficiency, prototyping, and research—enabling the team to move faster and smarter in day-to-day execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, researchers, and analysts to translate user needs and platform strategy into high-impact design solutions.
  • Advance design operations, team health, and career development across a growing, distributed design org.
  • Champion design quality and consistency, working within and extending Wayfair’s broader design system as needed for enterprise-scale tools.
  • Connect design to outcomes, using data and insights to influence priorities, measure impact, and continuously refine the experience.
What You’ll Need
  • 10+ years of experience in product design, with 3+ years leading and scaling design teams.
  • Experience designing for complex, enterprise-scale platforms or B2B ecosystems.
  • A proven track record of shaping product strategy and delivering outcomes through design.
  • Excellent storytelling, communication, and influence skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset and experience designing for modular, extensible platforms.
  • Deep fluency with tools like Figma and modern design system practices.
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, data-driven environments with iterative product development.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with supplier tools, merchandising platforms, or ecommerce operations is a strong plus.
  • Experience leading design teams in a platform, productivity, or tooling context.
  • Knowledge of experimentation, A/B testing, and design for performance optimization.
