Head of Energy Management (all genders)
As Head of Energy Management (all genders) you will play a key role in designing and scaling our Greentech SaaS/IoT solutions. You will lead a growing team of over 20 software engineers and 4 team leads and take overall responsibility for the further development of our energy management products. In close coordination with the Head of Product and Head of Engineering, you will drive the technical vision forward, promote a vibrant engineering culture, and strategically expand our solution portfolio.
Technical Leadership: Provide strong technical leadership and mentorship to the Energy Management teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Engineering Culture Development: Champion the buildup and nurturing of a healthy engineering culture within the organization, promoting best practices, continuous learning, and a strong sense of ownership.
Product Strategy Collaboration: Work closely with Product to define and execute the Energy Management product roadmap, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Head of Product, design, quality assurance, and other teams to deliver cohesive and customer-centric Energy Management products.
Technical Architecture: Define and maintain the technical architecture and design principles for our Energy Management products, ensuring they are scalable and maintainable.
Innovation: Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Energy Management engineering team.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality assurance processes and best practices to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Budget and Resource Management: Responsible for budget planning, resource allocation, and cost management within the Energy Management department.
- Technology Stack: Continuously improve and evolve the company's technology stack, which includes Golang and Python on AWS and edge devices, to develop and maintain high-quality, scalable solutions.
People Development
Build, develop, and manage a high-performing engineering team, including recruiting, training, and performance management.
Lead and develop managers for multiple engineering teams, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to ensure their teams' success.
You have 4+ years of professional experience in a leading role, preferably in the Energy Management industry.
You have a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams and developing managers for multiple engineering teams.
You are passionate for innovation and are staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to fight climate change and revolutionize the energy sector.
You convince others with a proactive and people-oriented mindset as well as strong communication and moderation skills to align between various stakeholders.
You have hired for your teams previously.
