The Digital Transformation Office is a function critical to the continued success and growth of Pure Storage. Its charter encompasses two areas of focus:

  • Driving growth and faster business outcomes through technology
  • Simplifying and modernizing the customer and partner journeys as they interact with Pure Storage
  • Head of Enterprise Architecture

    The Head of Enterprise Architecture is responsible for building and leading the enterprise architecture (EA) program and its efforts to develop, maintain and govern the architecture across the organization. They are tasked with aligning IT strategy and planning with the company's business goals and facilitating the most efficient and secure IT environment.

    What will you do?

    • Lead the development and execution of an enterprise-wide architectural roadmap that supports the strategic goals of the business.
    • Define and implement standards and guidelines for technical design, based on business goals and input from stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure the architecture is aligned with and capable of supporting their strategies and objectives.
    • Oversee the evaluation and selection of hardware and software technology and product standards, as well as the design of standard configurations.
    • Ensure that enterprise architecture outcomes are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Guide and mentor the enterprise architecture team and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
    • Monitor new technologies, and provide the leadership team with assessments of their potential business impact.
    • Participate in IT governance processes and contribute to the enterprise portfolio management strategy.

    What you bring to the team

    We are seeking a seasoned leader with a strong background in enterprise architecture and demonstrated ability to lead IT and technology teams to maturity in a rapidly growing and changing environment.

    A strategic thinker, you have the ability to define an enterprise architecture program in a systematic yet pragmatic manner, as well as identify the roadmap that leads to its successful adoption.

    As an influential leader, you have the ability to understand the organization challenges and drive consensus and decisions across organization boundaries.

    Desired qualifications

    • Strong understanding of architecture methodologies and modeling techniques.
    • Demonstrated experience in implementing enterprise architecture in large-scale organizations.
    • Exceptional leadership skills and the ability to develop and communicate the EA objectives, strategies, and processes to all levels within the company.
    • Strong business acumen, with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT and business systems, with a track record of leading enterprise architecture functions.
    • A master's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, Zachman Framework, or equivalent.

    The annual base salary range is: $194,000-$311,000 for Santa Clara/Bay Area. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
