Role

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, leads with energy and wants to make a lasting impact in the company. Provide independent data and strategy driven insight to manage the P&L and drive the function and the company to reach new strategic heights. You will report to the Finance & Strategy Director (Middle East) and be based in our Dubai office (DIFC) where we operate on a hybrid model (3 days a week in the office).

The job will involve:

  • Lead a team of two  

  • Provide proactive, insightful, high-quality analysis and recommendation to support decision-making in the context of wider business implications

  • Identification, modelling and actioning appropriate strategic initiatives and support (in some cases driving) execution of overall long-range plans

  • Classic business and financial planning activities and cadence: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis

  • Understand and influence the underlying performance drivers to help build long term financial results

  • Lead cross-functional strategic projects involving managing senior stakeholders to ensure quality delivery

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in an analytical and strategic role (investment banking/ consulting/FP&A background required)

  • Intellectually honest, independently minded, striving for and driving organisational improvement while meeting deliverables

  • You are humble yet hungry to improve and take ownership with minimal level of guidance

  • You hold yourself accountable to deliver results while being comfortable getting your hands dirty to get the job done. You demonstrate a whatever it takes attitude

  • Successful track record operating, partnering with and influencing exec-level stakeholders

  • Pragmatic, commercial mindset, comfortable with ambiguity and managing tradeoffs  

  • Experience in building and managing high performance teams

  • Motivation with the ability to work quickly and accurately in tight deadlines

  • Fluent English (written and spoken)
