The Head of Global Accounts is a key role in Synthesia. Reporting into the VP of Sales, you will be responsible for building a market leading sales function, with the full support and backing of the wider leadership team. You will work closely with our Customer Success team to ensure growth of our existing accounts. 

Our target Ideal Customer Profile is 1000+ people organizations -  selling multi-year contracts to C-Suite, Heads of L&D and Heads of People, HR and Talent.

We are looking for a leader who can coach our existing (and growing) team of Account reps. 

 

The role...
  • Hiring world-class talent: You will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top-notch account representatives to join the team.
  • Managing a high-functioning sales team: You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the sales team, driving annual recurring revenue (ARR) through upselling and expansion.
  • Account development: You will work on creating and implementing a comprehensive account strategy to nurture existing relationships with key accounts and expand reach to a more executive audience.
  • Collaboration with marketing and customer success: You will collaborate closely with the marketing and customer success teams to ensure alignment between the commercial aspects of the business and maximize customer satisfaction and engagement.
  • Supporting, coaching, and mentoring: You will actively support, coach, and mentor the account representatives to meet and exceed targets consistently, using your own and existing processes and methodologies.
  • Building a strong sales pipeline: It will be your responsibility to develop and maintain a robust pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring confidence in future revenue.
  • Negotiating and closing complex contracts: You will handle negotiations and successfully close deals involving complex contracts.
  • Updating sales playbooks: You will update existing sales playbooks with sales processes, methodologies, and learnings to optimize the sales function.

 

About you...
  • 10+ years of sales experience in B2B
  • Experience with expanding into existing accounts.  
  • Sales leadership experience with enterprise B2B SaaS companies that achieved scale
  • Good experience with tools like Gong, Salesforce, Salesloft etc
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with the wider team
  • You have hands-on experience working in early-stage startups and Hypergrowth experience
  • You are a proactive self-starter and enjoy working as part of growing teams
