Why We Have This Role

The Deal Desk team is the centralized organization most responsible for facilitating all aspects of the Qualtrics sales process. From RFP/proposal support, deal desk and general sales execution functions, this team is essential to the success of QCRs, and enables the business to deliver on customer commitments.

As the head of Global Deal desk, you will be responsible for driving Qualtrics’s global expansion through standardizing and simplifying the deal execution process. You will lead a global team of deal strategy and process analysts and foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring that our processes evolve in line with market needs and emerging trends.

How You’ll Find Success

  • Helping members of the global deal desk team grow, develop and learn.
  • Collaborating with sales leaders to ensure the scarce resources of the deal desk team are focused on the correct priorities and deals
  • Assisting sales teams in building out sales strategy, positioning and pricing for immediate sales opportunities
  • Identifying packaging gaps in the Qualtrics portfolio and work with your peers in marketing to drive change and improvement
  • Acting as the liaison between sales team and key partners throughout the business (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Legal, Order Management, Product Marketing, etc.) as well as your revenue operations peers throughout the world
  • Being responsible for the day-to-day quote and pricing approvals for the global Qualtrics sales
  • Capturing and operationalizing feedback from Qualtrics sales teams about the effectiveness of your team and analyze individual KPIs to help team members improve
  • Maintaining agreed upon SLAs for all team responsibilities

Things You’ll Do

  • Act as a sales-facing subject matter expert on various revenue operations related matters
  • Assist sales teams in building and positioning complex orders, preparing customer-facing presentations and
  • Acting as the liaison between your team and key partners throughout the business (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Legal, Order Management, Product Marketing, etc.) as well as your revenue operations peers throughout the world
  • Be responsible for the day-to-day proposal, quote and pricing approvals
  • Capture and operationalize feedback from Qualtrics sales teams about the effectiveness of your team and analyze individual KPIs to help team members improve
  • Maintain agreed upon SLAs for all team responsibilities
  • Act as a point of escalation for critical projects and team tasks

What We’re Looking For On Your Resume

  • 10+ years of professional experience with a minimum of 5 at a B2B software firm (SaaS preferred) in a revenue operations role
  • 7+ years of SaaS Deal Desk or other pricing experience is required with knowledge of how to structure and price various types of deals (size, region, years, etc).
  • 5+ years managing a team with experience developing early-career talent, a big plus
  • Subject matter expert on systems, quoting, finance, legal related to closing a deal
  • Proven management and collaboration skills and experience managing a sales process with broad, disparate functional ownership
  • Ability to expand, modify and improve business processes
  • Working knowledge of international business and how global teams function effectively
  • Proven and demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including executive presentation skills
  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Marketing, Economics, or other business; MBA a big plus
