About the role

We are looking for a starHead of Group Accounting to support our global finance team. You will play an important role in consolidating the group, adding accounting expertise, conversion to IFRS (not immediately), give inputs on our accounting IT-infrastructure and lead an international team of 4.

You will own and prepare the monthly, quarterly and yearly financial statements and other periodic financial reports, ensuring that the finance team operates within a robust control environment and being the principal point of contact for external auditors. You will also contribute to ensuring that financial systems are fit for purpose, are appropriately maintained and will identify areas for improvement.

This is a key role in the continued growth of our company. We are a team of highly skilled and dedicated colleagues, and we offer a challenging and dynamic role in an ever changing environment with the opportunity to tackle much responsibility in a rapidly growing international company. You will report to our CFO and the role is based in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm. Your work will include and is not limited to:

• IPO Readiness & IFRS transitioning

• Setup accounting principles and guidelines ensuring good internal control

• Accounting and related finance processes within the CAKE group

• Statutory reporting (Annual report, tax filings, VAT etc.)

• Consolidation of group financials reported from partners and subsidiaries

• Manage the outsourced payroll provider

• Representing finance in projects (growth / IT / etc)

• Work relentlessly to make sure your team is focused on delivering the most impactful work and delivering against your success metrics, whilst staying healthy and excited. A healthy balance of care, support and maintenance is key for all successful teams

Who are you?

Qualifications

• At least 8 years experience in Audit, Financial accounting advisory services, Financial reporting or Financial control or similar

• Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and K3)

• IFRS experience and experience with consolidation

• A reputation being an individual that provides world class customer service

• You hold strong relationships with internal and external partner teams

• Confirmed leadership skills and the willingness to grow into a senior leadership role with a strategic and business and solution oriented attitude
