 What You’ll Do

• Develop robust, trusting relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership, and identify opportunities to improve the Warehousing (FC) performance. 
• Command a strong senior presence and build a team of high performing Operations Managers.
• Partner closely with a variety of groups company-wide, including transportation, data integration, warehousing, inventory planning, engineering and others to coordinate cross functional projects.
• Monitor and drive key service level metrics for fulfilment to ensure that we are providing excellent customer experience and delivering on our promise.
• Contribute to the development of new tools, processes and technology which make our teams more efficient and effective.
• Formulate and execute plans to continuously improve our operations and inventory availability.
• Support operational strategy and innovation to drive business goals for revenue, operational performance, and profitability.
• Manage, coach, and develop a team of Operations Managers to deliver on our customer promises and productivity targets whilst maintaining a safe environment for our teams.
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with effective communication and thorough follow through.
• Establish sound process improvement initiatives that drive year over year improvement, as well as streamline and optimise day-to-day operations.
• Regularly communicate performance trends and improvements to senior management and leadership.

What you will need

• German and English language fluency (both written and spoken)
• Demonstrable success whilst operating within a senior leadership function (operational, supply chain, logistical, ecommerce or management consultancy).
• Experience of leading, managing and guiding operational teams to deliver improved productivity; formulating and executing plans to deliver inventory accuracy in a warehousing environment.
• To be passionate about people. Someone who repeatedly develops teams and individuals through effective coaching and mentoring techniques; empowering and enabling our future leaders to flourish. 
• Self-motivation, and inner drive to manage and prioritise projects whilst delegating tasks appropriately.
• Confidence in business and data analytics, interpreting and building insights to develop, recommend and implement progressive solutions. 
• Effective communication skills, someone who quickly engages, inspires and builds trusting direct and cross functional partnerships.
• A track record of taking on big challenges and delivering despite obstacles and limitations.
• Solid IT skills (Microsoft Office or Google, Excel, Sheets).  Any knowledge of SQL would be a plus. 
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or be qualified by experience.
