The Platform team’s challenge is to help our stakeholders achieve this in a complex, regulated environment. As Head of Payment Solutions – LATAM, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our payments infrastructure in the region supports this mission.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Group remains at the forefront of payment solutions (Banks, PSPs & acquirers) by researching new solutions to expand the current portfolio and identifying unique and innovative solutions that can differentiate us from the competition in both product offering and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with payment providers in LATAM, fostering trusted partnerships focused on mutual growth and financial success.
  • Be the first point of contact for both the PSP and relevant internal stakeholders. Review and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and amendments.
  • Responsible for commercial negotiations, legal reviews, and due diligence with new or existing suppliers to achieve the best possible deals for the region.
  • Achieve and exceed KPIs covering optimization of the cost of processing.
  • Manage efficient onboarding processes with PSPs, both externally and internally. Successfully complete KYC requests while maintaining internal compliance standards.
  • Monitor and review changes to the legal framework for payments and online gambling in LATAM, and ensure Betsson takes timely and appropriate action.
  • Assist in internal and external audits and liaise with product teams regarding regulatory requirements affecting payments (e.g., scheme updates or enforcement of new regulations).
  • Work closely with the Payment Product Owners and Project Managers on prioritising PSP integration plans, ensuring product plans/requirements meet stakeholders' needs.
  • Act as a pivotal point of contact between Operations, Finance, and Risk & Fraud teams for PSP-related matters (operational, technical, or regulatory) and feed insights back into the Product Team.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the Payments/Gambling industry.
  • Previous experience in account management/relationship management roles.
  • Deep knowledge of payments, risk, fraud, and KYC within the iGaming or financial services sector.
  • Proven ability to work independently with a strong results-oriented mindset.
