We're searching for an experienced HR Leader who is passionate about all things 'People' and who can help us continue to grow across India.

We're building a diverse, accomplished Tech team to work with the existing UK and Poland Tech Engineering, Data Science, Product & Experience teams. You will have experience in what good is (from a People perspective) and bring your skills and expertise to build things from scratch in India.

You will create a dynamic, inclusive, and fun culture but ensure we're compliant as we grow things quickly. You will partner with teams across India and the UK to inspire managers and motivate their teams to build awesome things. You will support the roll out of global and cyclical programmes but ensure they are suitable/adapted for the local team.

You will grow our employee value proposition and grow our people strategy in India. You will report directly to the HR Director, Technology & Corporate Functions in the UK and will also be a member of the Indian Management team. Please note, this role can be based in our offices in Hyderabad or Bangalore.

What you'll do:
  • Partner with the local site management team and provide guidance on a variety of HR topics
  • Monitor trends and people metrics (e.g. attrition, engagement survey data, sickness absence) to identify organisational health issues and work with local leaders to develop solutions.
  • Lead the facilitation and management of all people programmes rollout within your market (performance/compensation reviews, succession planning)
  • Advise and implement changes to organisational structure in compliance with local practices and labour laws.
  • Lead sessions and programmes to develop manager capability around topics such as sharing feedback, DEI, and coaching.
  • Manage a junior HRBP and coach them through complex employee relations matters
  • Oversee processes such as payroll and benefits in partnership with specialist teams
What you'll bring to the table:
  • 8+ Human Resources experience with 5+ of HR Business Partner experience in an evolving organisation (e.g. technology scale-up)
  • Experience should include a focus on performance management and talent development, organisational design, and leadership coaching
  • Comfortable switching between operational and strategic HR
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS system
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Knowledge of India labour laws and regulations is beneficial
  • Please note candidates for this role are required to be fluent in written and verbal English
