As an experienced Product Designer (m/f/d) you will improve our corporate wellbeing product Wellpass & its French subsidiary “Gymlib” even further and act as lead to the current team of designers. Together we will shape a product that changes employees’ lives by supporting them in building healthy and fun habits. Are you up for that new challenge? Then join our team in Munich or Paris!

  • You manage 5 designers reporting to you directly (2 Seniors and 3 intermediate) and you support them to make their skills grow super strong. You also guide and coach them, to make the team follow consistent and state of the art design practices, take strong hypothesis, run a testing process and challenge the solutions we build
  • You will be involved in the product development and work closely with the product managers on research, concept development, wireframes, prototypes, user testing and final design
  • You ensure that our users' passion for sports is reflected in our product. Your ambition is that our product conveys this emotion and pleasure to the users interacting with it 
  • You work closely with our Engineering team to ensure our product is fun and easy to use both on mobile and the web
  • You own the design strategy and quality process and you are accountable for transversal design projects (design System, copy writing process, tone of voice, ...)
  • You improve our design systems, design guidelines and how the design work is handed over to developers
  • You collaborate and exchange ideas with other UX specialists across the EGYM group as well as our marketing team
  • You take on a dual role, doing design work in a product squad, while being team lead to the other designers

Your fitness level

  • You have been managing other designers in the past for at least 2 years
  • You have a strong background and at least 6 years of experience in user research and UX/UI design
  • You have prior product experience in working on web and mobile based UX
  • You have passion for human-centered design helping to solve user problems
  • You have an eye for nudging elements, well-conceived components and performing user flows
  • You like to be creative, innovating and keep an eye on the other products trends and great ideas
  • You are fluent in English; German would be helpful but is not required
  • You like working in an agile, cross-functional team and are eager to contribute your ideas

Your training goal for your first 6 months

  • You developed a deep understanding of our products and audience
  • You supported the concept validation, scoping, and preparation for our upcoming roadmap themes
  • You drive ongoing and project related user research, feedback, and knowledge sharing processes
  • You took ownership of the existing design system and develop it further with the team
  • You developed a trustful and helpful relationship with the other designers, your squad of Product Management and Engineering, as well as other stakeholders in the organization
