Vungle Exchange (VX) is Liftoff’s programmatic exchange, which helps buyers get the programmatic reach needed to deliver premium ad experiences and engage high-quality users in their favorite mobile apps at exactly the right time.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

As Head of APAC, Programmatic, you will own a critical portfolio of accounts for exchange buyers in the APAC region. You will manage a team of account owners and work towards assigned business and pipeline goals while prioritizing an outstanding customer experience.

You will utilize your influence to deliver outcomes and pull from internal business insights and external knowledge of the market to drive results for our most important buyers. While keeping the pulse on overall Liftoff business goals, you will deliver direction, vision, and coaching, as well as be responsible for the success of quarterly sales targets for the APAC region.

  • Define & execute strategies and action plans to achieve annual revenue goals
  • Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Deepen and expand existing relationships and close new business for the Vungle Exchange across the APAC region.
  • Collaborate with the US-based exchange leadership team to identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
  • Advocate for the value of programmatic advertising in industry events and client meetings across the APAC region.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • You must have a proven record of driving alignment to a decision by utilizing clear frameworks, excellent communication, and thoughtful data-driven analyses.
  • You are a seasoned mobile app ads professional, with deep business acumen who understands operations to be part science and part art. 
  • You have experience fostering a team climate that encourages constant curiosity and daily agility to deliver the more effective advertising strategies for Liftoff’s advertising customers. 
  • You are able to manage outcomes by incorporating your own industry knowledge, a deep understanding of the APAC mobile app advertising market, and learnings from internal and external analytics.
  •  You know how to enhance productivity and performance without compromising innovation, culture, or revenue.
  • You exhibit high emotional intelligence and integrity at all times while showing the ability to build deep consultative partnerships with your business stakeholders. You must have a passion for helping teams communicate better with each other to drive results
  • You know how to manage through change in a fluid growth environment. You have experience managing many concurrent and interconnected initiatives in complex matrixed environments. You pair this with an expertise in making actionable decisions in the absence of perfect information and shifting circumstances.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • 10+ years of work experience in an account and sales ownership role or an operational capacity at the intersection of mobile app ads technology and digital marketing. Strong analytical and operational aptitude. Expert relationship-building skills.
  • A consummate, empathetic, and experienced communicator with experience managing direct reports and coaching individuals through change.
  • Experience influencing individuals at the executive level and driving strategic business transformations (sometimes without complete information).
  • Has the desire to lead and contribute to a fast-paced, hands-on, visionary culture. You bring a demonstrated track record of owning outcomes during a measurable business transition.
  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Language requirements: Mandarin - Native level preferred; Business Proficient also acceptable. English - fluent.

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work.  In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location.

The annual pay range for this position in Beijing is: OTE (On-Target Earnings = base + 30% variable) of 716,000 - 1,175,000 RMB
