Join over 6,000 people across the globe who think that’s work worth doing.   Head of Public Sector ANZ   Why We Have This Role This is an opportunity to lead the ANZ business in its next phase and continue to drive our presence in the Public Sector across Australia and New Zealand. The Head of Public Sector is a senior-level “Player-Coach” who will be responsible for growing Qualtrics' presence across Federal and State governments. This position can be based in Qualtrics’ Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra offices. The Head of Public Sector is responsible for defining the strategy to then execute to drive new Federal and State Government business. The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader responsible for  managing a pipeline of new business prospects, as well as maintaining key relationships with Qualtrics’ existing Government customers. This leader will partner closely with Qualtrics’ marketing, customer success, industry consultants and our ecosystem partners to ensure our Government customers derive the greatest value of our partnership.     How You’ll Find Success
  • You will be a trusted advisor at an Executive level within the client base.
  • Display a data driven approach to managing contract negotiations/deals with multiple reps at a time.
  • Strong communication skills, aware of the message being transmitted to the team, how it’s delivered, and its perception.

  Things You’ll Do
  • Manage and grow a team of Solutions Sales professionals with a focus across the ANZ public sector.
  • Ensure positive collaboration with key functional areas in country (Sales Leaders, Professional Services, Implementation, Subject Matter Experts, Legal etc).
  • Serve as executive sponsor for key accounts, events and press in the region.
  • Connect and develop professional relationships and existing clients and prospects throughout organisational levels.
  What We’re Looking For On Your Resume
  • Strong proven background in either Federal,State or Local Government sales with a track record of leading teams to exceptional and sustained results.
  • Experience managing an enterprise level sales team to achieve great results.
  • Recent experience selling complex SaaS software solutions to Federal, State and Local Government Departments and Agencies.
  • Tertiary qualification or higher preferred. Competency with one or more sales methodologies and CRM technologies, including Salesforce.com and measuring system compliance.
  • Record of over-exceeding quarterly team quotas through metric based skill development and internal team management.
  • Understanding of working on complex contract negotiations.
