About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances to lead and grow our most impactful partnerships, particularly with Global System Integrators (GSIs), Regional System Integrators (RSIs), consultancies, agencies, and cloud hyperscalers (AWS, GCP), that drive significant revenue and market growth.

You will own the global strategy for identifying, securing, and scaling high-value alliances, navigating complex organizations to create mutual value and long-term success. This includes developing playbooks, GTM plans, and operational frameworks to deliver measurable business outcomes.

In this role, you will build and lead a distributed, high-performing global team, working closely with Mixpanel’s GTM leadership, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure our alliances accelerate enterprise pipeline growth and establish Mixpanel as the best-in-class Customer Journey Analytics platform.

This role is for you if you have a growth mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and excellent prioritization and operator skills to get a lot done with a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, recruit, and activate GSIs, RSIs, consultancies, agencies and hyperscalers with the highest revenue potential, who will become long-term game changers for our business globally and within specific markets
  • Develop the enterprise GTM strategy by building joint value propositions, identifying key success metrics and the right operational cadences that align with enterprise sales motions.
  • Drive measurable new business opportunities and sales pipeline growth through top-tier strategic and cloud partnerships. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner executives to expand influence and unlock new opportunities.
  • Develop and lead a global alliances and partnership enablement program with training, resources, and co-marketing to empower partners to sell and deliver Mixpanel solutions.
  • Establish a strong scalable Partnership Framework through creating repeatable processes, playbooks, and operational rhythms to ensure consistent partner performance and accountability.
  • Forge strong internal alignment with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to maximize partner impact through cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management 
  • Be accountable for, own and deliver on revenue / pipeline goal that directly contributes to the company’s overall revenue growth
What  We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years in Analytics, MarTech, SaaS, or Data industries, with deep knowledge of the analytics and modern data stack landscape.
  • 5+ years building or managing alliances with GSIs, RSIs, consultancies, agencies and hyperscalers; strong network preferred.
  • Proven track record in enterprise partnerships and understanding of the enterprise sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience closing significant agreements with GSIs, agencies, or cloud hyperscalers with strong deal strategy skills.
  • Experience leading and coaching global, distributed teams.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with experience building and scaling alliance programs in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to prioritize high-impact activities and tie alliance strategy directly to GTM outcomes.
  • Strong record of hitting KPIs while driving incremental enterprise revenue through strategic partnerships.
  • Strong talent attractor and track record of building small, high-performing teams with an ability to roll up their sleeves and contribute as an IC on Day 1

Compensation

The amount listed below is the total target cash compensation (TTCC) and includes base compensation and variable compensation in the form of either a company bonus or commissions. Variable compensation type is determined by your role and level. In addition to the cash compensation provided, this position is also eligible for equity consideration and other benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage. You can view our benefits offerings here.Our salary ranges are determined by role and level and are benchmarked to the SF Bay Area Technology data cut released by Radford, a global compensation database. The range displayed represents the minimum and maximum TTCC for new hire salaries for the position across all of our US locations. To stay on top of market conditions, we refresh our salary ranges twice a year so these ranges may change in the future. Within the range, individual pay is determined by experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and other factors.
