Health and Safety Lead
About The Team:
The Health and Safety team is at the epicenter of our Customer Centricity DNA Value except for this time the customers are their colleagues! The work they carry out enables all HelloFresh staff to work confidently knowing that the environment is safe, and secure and puts them first!
What You Will Be Doing:
- Inspect all areas of the business on a regular basis by conducting safety walks, issuing reports to management and updating the corrective action and preventative (CAPA) action log
- Participate/lead investigations into accidents and incidents identifying corrective action, preventative actions and causation factors
- Take ownership of site H&S communication processes such as notice boards, keeping these up to date with relevant information
- Work with the Head of H&S on the delivery of ergonomic risk assessments across HelloFresh UK Operations
- Engage staff in safe practice, and review feedback from the team on how to improve
- Advise site management team on safety processes, the safety management systems, changes, accident investigation, best practice and all general safety enquiries
- Promote strong internal H&S culture through positive engagement with the site teams at all levels and own employee happiness safety initiatives
- Create and deliver H&S training packages and tool box talks
Who You Are:
- Exposure of having worked in a Health and Safety role ideally based within a warehouse / food manufacturing / logistics environment
- IOSH Managing Safely qualification
- NEBOSH National General Certificate is desirable
- Experience in delivering H&S training
- Experience in performing all risk assessments
- Understanding of `human factors

Start Date: ASAP
Location: 1 Holme Lane, Spondon, Derby, DE21 7HW
Work Schedule: 40 hours a week
