You will be part of a high-performing housekeeping team at our Flex portfolio - Cantonment / Owen House, playing a pivotal role in ensuring guest satisfaction by providing a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Clean and tidy guest rooms, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming floors and/or carpets, and cleaning windows and mirrors.
  • Replenish amenities and supplies in guest rooms and public areas, such as toiletries, towels, linens, and refreshments.
  • Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and guest clothing when necessary.
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of waste in a sanitary manner.
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages to the appropriate personnel for prompt resolution.
  • Adhere to established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Ensure the worksheet is kept up to date throughout the shift, keys are signed out and kept securely.
  • Attend special projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless operations and exceptional guest service.

The skills, attitude, and experience we require are:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. Candidates should possess conversational English skills to effectively interact with colleagues and guests.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to perform repetitive tasks, such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
