HR & Payroll Administrator

Guardsquare is looking for an HR Administrator to reinforce the HR team in our Leuven office.

You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. You will also manage and control the monthly payrolls for the office in Leuven and our subsidiaries in other countries, in collaboration with our external payroll provider. 

Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. 

Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner.

Ultimately, you should be able to make sure that our HR department supports our employees while conforming to HR & Social laws.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepares, executes and ensures an accurate payroll based on the available employee data.
  • SPOC for employees and executives regarding questions on HR administration & payroll.
  • Spoc for external partners (payroll provider, insurances, external service for prevention & protection at work, etc. ).
  • Full life cycle HR administration (offer letters, contract preparation, registration on different platforms etc)
  • Follow up on Onboarding/Offboarding procedure
  • Examines international employment frameworks & obligations & manages specific cases in this area. 
  • Contributes to the optimisation of existing processes, systems & tools related to HR administration.  
  • Ensures correct application of social legislation & government regulation.

 

  Profile 

  • Min Bachelor degree 
  • At least 2 years of work experience as HR Officer/ Administrator or in payroll/salary administration, preferably in an international environment.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of HR & social legislation.
  • Expresses oneself fluently in Dutch and English, oral & written.
  • Communicative, team player, punctual, detail-oriented, service minded, discrete, critical eye, sense of accuracy, independent and eager to learn.
