The HR Business Partner acts as a strategic advisor and trusted partner to senior leadership within the distribution center. In this role, you lead complex, company-wide HR initiatives, develop and implement cross-site people solutions, and drive data-driven improvements that strengthen organisational performance. You will build relationships and a strong knowledge of business units to better understand stakeholders' pain points and challenges with our teams. You will lead projects to implement new policies for more efficient ways of working. 

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Advising and supporting site leadership in implementing overarching HR strategies aligned with the company vision.
  • Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team
  • Dealing with day to day queries from colleagues – liaising with support functions as required.
  • Translating site and departmental strategies into concrete HR measures, including execution support and impact monitoring.
  • Identifying and implementing automation and digitalisation opportunities within HR processes.
  • Undertaking problem solving activities and escalating to the Head of People Operations where necessary.
  • Coaching and acting as a true partner for senior leaders with a focus on productivity, leadership, and team culture.
  • Leading strategic HR projects (e.g., compensation cycles, performance reviews, engagement initiatives).
  • Analysing and preparing people data to derive actions that enhance productivity, retention, and engagement.
  • Championing key Company strategies; initiatives – eg: Employee Surveys; Diverse & Inclusive working; Colleague Wellbeing 
  • Developing and implementing site-specific HR policies and processes in alignment with overarching company standards.
  • Managing HR projects in close collaboration with central and international HR teams.

Who You Are:

  • Completed degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Demonstrable experience as an HR Business Partner, including strategic HR Projects
  • Coaching, Communication, Stakeholder Management, Project Leadership.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Confident Stakeholder Management and Clear Communication at C-Level.
  • A natural “people person” with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills and strategic solution development based on robust data.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
  • Contribution to site and company strategy through targeted People initiatives.
  • Feel at home in a fast-paced and demanding environment that develops and changes quickly every day.
  • Take ownership and act autonomously while working effectively with the entire HR team, leveraging your collaborative strengths.

Location: The Granary, Unit 3 Chalker Wy, Banbury OX16 4XD

Shifts: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm. 3 days on site.
