THE WORK:

As Ripple continues to build our teams globally, we are looking to bring on a dedicated resource who will deliver as a strategic partner to the regional Managing Director, UK & Europe and other managers in our second largest region. You will contribute to the overall people strategy of Ripple through delivering org design, performance management, and talent retention strategies that enable regional leaders in Product, Sales, & Customer Success to achieve their objectives and drive growth. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Closely partner your regional Managing Director and local leaders in building & sustaining a culture that is consistent with Ripple’s values and achieves company objectives
  • In coordination with Director, HRBP - Product & Business, support and champion the implementation of cyclical people processes, including performance management, reward, talent planning, and engagement
  • Provide sound advice to managers, fellow HRBPs, and HR centers of excellence to support people practices in line with regional guidelines, our values, and company goals, including:
  • Managing regional employee relations issues 
  • Local delivery of global HR strategy / projects
  • Engage with L&D on creating meaningful regional development weeks and other L&D initiatives
  • Partnering with Recruitment & Reward on local offers and ensuring hiring matches your leaders’ org design 
  • Understand the vision and OKRs of the company & leadership team, and collaborate with other HRBPs to execute a people strategy that supports achievement of those goals with your aligned leaders 
  • Gather and analyze relevant people data to identify valid insights and convert these into recommendations to guide sound decision-making and deliver clarity on health of org to your business leaders
  • Manage various projects for both the business/regions you support, and as appropriate, the broader organization, to support change programs and company’s overall strategy

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ years comprehensive experience in employee relations, employment law, people manager development, and generalist HR, specifically in the UK (additional experience with Central Europe / Switzerland a huge plus)
  • Experience working in agile and complex industries and with globally distributed teams and a no-job-too-small mentality
  • Familiarity with supporting a sales organization and collaborating with sales operations on incentive planning and performance
  • Able to own, plan, and organize projects to accomplish a quality outcome on time and on budget
  • Culture and engagement champion with experience managing change, engagement initiatives, and contributing to stakeholder strategic plans
  • Action oriented coach with high bar for excellence and attention to detail 
  • Natural relationship builder - Ability to guide effective stakeholder discussions
  • Previous experience with successful integration of acquired businesses is a plus, but not required.
  • Listening – being truly present and attentively listening to what is said, what is not said, and how it is said by others
  • Agility - the ability to evaluate the urgency of an employee or leader’s need, spot opportunities and act to implement change quickly
