An HR generalist role managing various HR functions, including recruiting support, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, workplace management and ensuring compliance with labor laws, while also creating an effective work environment. They partner with employees and managers on all elements of the employee lifecycle - from performance management, coaching and training & employee relations to employee onboarding and off-boarding. They support the HR Business Partners in data and trend analysis, talent management, workforce planning, and culture development. They serve as a right hand to the HR Business Partners in developing best practices that are regionally informed and globally aligned. They are passionate about employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion.
In this role, you will provide cross-functional support primarily for the Bangalore Office and periodically for Asia Pacific offices, including people and workplace leadership, as well as finance and legal administrative support.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
Human Resources Responsibilities
- Support the development and execution of the People Team Roadmap plans: You'll be instrumental in turning strategy into action, helping shape and deliver the HR initiatives that directly impact our growth and success.
- Align with the HRBP team to support the employee lifecycle: From onboarding to off-boarding, you’ll provide comprehensive support at every stage of the employee journey. This includes performance reviews, compensation planning, talent development, training, and more, ensuring our team members have everything they need to succeed.
- Assist managers and employees with HR needs: You’ll act as a trusted advisor, guiding leaders and employees through complex HR matters while offering solutions and resources that empower them to navigate challenges confidently.
- Translate policies and processes for managers and employees: As the go-to person, you’ll make sure that policies and procedures are clear and easily understood, ensuring smooth communication and compliance across teams.
- Influence and support transformation and change management: You’ll be a driving force behind major change initiatives, helping leaders and teams adapt and thrive through periods of transformation within the business.
- Assist with research and groundwork for projects: Whether it’s market studies or evaluating best practices, you’ll dig deep into the data to provide insights that shape the People Team’s strategic decisions.
- Collaborate with the People Operations team: From onboarding to benefits management, you’ll work alongside the People Ops team to ensure all operational needs are met, providing a seamless experience for employees from day one.
- Partner with the broader People Team to execute employee engagement programs: You'll help launch and sustain initiatives that keep our workforce engaged, motivated, and connected, contributing to a vibrant and inclusive company culture.
- Strive for continuous improvement: You’ll always be looking for ways to improve, suggesting updates to programs and processes that will better support our teams and enhance the overall employee experience.
Office Support Responsibilities
- Management of Guest Services and Reception responsibilities.
- Learn, support, and execute various processes that support the workplace operations, cleanliness and safety, both in person and through vendors – such as, but not limited to:
- Procurement and maintenance of workplace-related supplies and supply areas.
- Shipping management support.
- Partnership in logistics and planning of internal events and client meetings.
- Seat logistics and supporting documentation.
- Completing assigned Workplace Jira tickets.
- Fire Safety and Emergency Evacuation Team member.
- Meeting room bookings, verifying readiness and setup.
- Workplace messaging.
Legal Support Responsibilities
- Manage required office display notices
- Maintain compliance documentation as instructed
- Assist with regular compliance filing as instructed
- Maintain office incident register
Here's What You Need:
- HRBP or HR Generalist Experience: 4-7 years; partnering with regional and globally distributed teams and leaders to drive HR initiatives preferred.
- Analytical & Tactical Mindset: Ability to leverage data for informed decision-making and process optimization while being tactical in implementing HR strategies for continuous improvement.
- Influencing Skills: You’re a trusted advisor, skilled at building relationships and credibility quickly within the business.
- Passion for Culture: Excited to shape an inclusive, high-performing culture by aligning people strategies with business outcomes.
- Proactive Self-Starter: Driven and enthusiastic, you take the initiative to identify issues and craft solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic Thinker: Ability to see the bigger picture to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Excellent Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills that facilitate effective engagement across all levels.
- Global Perspective: Strong knowledge of regional employment laws and labor standards.
- An HR designation is a plus!
