We are hiring an experienced HR Operations Manager who will directly manage a team of HR Operations Coordinators and Specialists supporting Lyft team members across the employee lifecycle from pre-boarding to offboarding. This role will be responsible for ensuring we provide excellent customer service to team members and partners, while streamlining HR operational processing – with a focus on documentation, compliance self-service and automation. The HR Operations Manager will be responsible for the integrity of team member data, operating with the highest degree of confidentiality and discretion. We are looking for someone who can act as a strategic thought partner to the Head of HR Operations and the broader People, Systems & Operations team. The ideal candidate will be a resourceful self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of HR Operations Coordinators & Specialists, ensuring engagement and providing guidance on day to day responsibilities
  • Assess team performance by analyzing customer ticketing system metrics and identify and address any process or skills gaps
  • Serve as the escalation point and help triage sensitive, challenging and/or novel issues that arise from partner teams
  • Operate within Workday on a daily basis to oversee the execution of employee lifecycle business processes
  • Monitor existing audits (SOX, etc.) to ensure compliance, efficacy and reconciliation, while identifying any existing gaps that require attention
  • Take full ownership of our internal HR Operations knowledgebase, ensuring standard operating procedures are documented, up to date and adhered to
  • Manage the scoping and intake of inherited processes from partners across the People team
  • As the owner of end-to-end HR Ops processes, challenge the current state designed to drive efficiencies, improve SLAs and encourage self-service functionality, both within and outside of systems
  • Partners with the People Systems teams to enable system solutions by translating business requirements and acting as liaison between the business and systems teams 
Experience:
  • 2+ years of direct experience managing a team of front line HR team members
  • 2+ years managing employee data and workflows in Workday, either a systems admin or HR Ops partner
  • Experience fielding tiered HR questions from team members; Zendesk experience preferred
  • Experience managing SOX audits and interfacing with auditors preferred
  • Comfortable performing data audits and reconciliation with large sets of data
  • Intermediate spreadsheet proficiency (e.g. vLookup, pivot tables, etc.)

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule following the establishment of a Lyft office in Nashville — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year. #Hybrid

The expected base pay range for this position in the Nashville area is $85,280-106,600. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
