Human Resources Director

We're hiring a visionary Human Resources Director to join our dynamic team, serving as a strategic partner for our New York office and as HR lead for one of our high-profile client groups nationwide. You Will:
- Command the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR strategies and programs that drive engagement, performance, and retention across the organization
- Build trusted relationships with senior leadership, serving as an influential advisor and strategic partner for all things talent and culture
- Own the full employee lifecycle for employees across multiple locations
- Take the lead on change management and special projects within the HR and talent teams, bringing creative solutions and thought leadership to agencywide initiatives
- Mentor and develop HR team members, fostering growth, collaboration, and operational excellence
- Navigate complex employee relations and conflict resolution with empathy and courage, ensuring a positive and compliant workplace
- Analyze HR data, provide actionable insights, and deliver regular reporting to executive leadership
- Drive diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, ensuring our practices foster belonging and opportunity for all
- Ensure audit ready compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies, mitigating risk and modeling best practices
You Have
- 5–8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally at the Director level and preferably within a fast-paced agency or similar environment
- A big-picture mindset, with a knack for translating organizational vision into actionable HR strategies
- The ability to lead with empathy, deliver tough messages with care, and thrive in the “gray” areas of people leadership
- Masterful prioritization skills: you can pivot quickly and stay ahead in a dynamic environment
- Expertise in HR analytics, using data to drive decisions and tell compelling stories
- A strong belief in the power of teams—both within HR and across the agency
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, and experience with HRIS and presentation tools
- Comfort and enthusiasm for working three days a week in the New York office to model, connect, and inspire

We continually review ranges to address skills, experience and markets. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a number of factors that include, but aren’t limited to, a candidate’s experience and skills relative to the scope and responsibilities of the position. For current CM employees, tenure will also be a consideration.Salary Range$145,000—$165,000 USD
