Role Description:

The HR Operations Specialist, plays a key role in creating and maintaining a positive, seamless employee experience by assisting employees with their day-to-day HR requests. Additionally, they facilitate core elements of the employee life cycle including onboarding, employee relations, benefits, leave of absence, and off boarding. The role project manages the development, implementation, and administration of current and new HR operations programs, resources, and process optimizations. The HR Operations Specialist will be part of a global HR team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Resolves employee inquiries in a timely manner by utilizing a ticketing management system and leveraging their knowledge of Symphony’s benefits, policies, employment verification, programs, systems, and other day-to-day HR items
  • Is a super user of Workday, optimizing and managing process and improvements in the tool
  • Administers and manages employee immigration and mobility programs, including vendor management, process improvement and the employee experience.
  • Partners with HR team members and other business stakeholders to identify and address areas of improvement in the immigration and mobility programs
  • Supports and facilitates the development, enhancement, and execution of onboarding and off- boarding processes
  • Excels in data management and analysis. Ensures and regularly reports on accurate data in our systems to inform business decisions
  • Manages and coordinates internal HR operations related communications including writing content for firm-wide use
  • Ensures employee documentation is accurate, current, and compliant
  • Assists with ongoing development and improvement of HR programs, process, and procedures

Required Qualifications: 

  • High proficiency in Workday including experience with system testing and building processes within the system across multiple modules. Certifications in Workday are a plus.
  • Experience with immigration and mobility programs
  • Passionate about data, accuracy, and its use in business decisions. Meticulously detailed and accurate across work delivered.
  • Posses a deep understanding of global employment practices. Knowledge and experience with employment practices in the UK, USA, Sweden, France, Israel, and Asia is a plus.
  • Project management, excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Maintains the utmost confidentiality, exemplifies sound judgment, and handles sensitive information discreetly
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
  • Thinks globally and acts as part of a global and collaborative team
  • Performs best in fast-paced and collaborative team environments;
  • Prioritizes effectively and can manage and execute multiple projects at once
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, Greenhouse, and Workday
  • Experience working in an environment where work is driven and completed via a chat platform is a plus
