Human Resources Shared Services Analyst
Our Opportunity:
Chewy is seeking an HR Shared Services Analyst to join the pack in our Plantation, FL office! In this role, you will work in the HRSS & Team Member Experience organization to support Tier 2 processes, including relocation support, immigration, Contingent Workforce, background checks, drug screen tracking, employee discount abuse, and support of Compliant Licensing. In your day-to-day responsibilities, you will support requests and projects that are specialized, and require additional review and coordination to support. What You'll Do:
- Provide direct support in processes such as relocation, immigration matters for sponsored Team Members, Contingent Workforce needs, background, drug, and compliant licensing
- Interpret policies and procedures, incorporating knowledge of state and federal employment laws, and provide recommendations that align with compliance and audit requirements
- Respond to inquiries and assist in resolving employee policies, procedures, and program issues
- Coordinate and conduct training in HR topics and processes
- Maintains relevant HR repositories, job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), to ensure tools and communications are up to date
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review operational processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and implement required changes to improve processes
- Manage an ongoing caseload of requests and Team Member concerns, ensuring quality communication, accuracy, and compliance with internal standards and legal requirements
- Based on case performance insights in ServiceNow, partner with the leadership team to enhance their understanding and improve case operation in ServiceNow
- Perform root cause analysis to find opportunities for improvement, communicate findings, and audit to ensure effective resolution
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting and auditing across all Tier 2 Programs
- Collaborate with third-party providers and internal partners to implement new background and drug screening processes, HR programs, and related procedures
- Manage vendors (Contingent Staffing Suppliers & Background/ Drug third-party vendors) to ensure commitments and SLAs are in accordance with established agreements and that concerns are addressed timely
- Maintain data integrity in various HR systems
What You'll Need:
- 3+ years of demonstrable experience in a dynamic HR organization
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
- Experience with creating and modifying Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX, and MATCH) and conditional formatting
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with different levels of leadership
- Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, attention to detail, and intuitive sense of business insight
- Strong self-initiative, time management, and prioritizing abilities, especially in moments of ambiguity and change
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to inform decision-making and strategy development
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in handling critical and personal information
- Position may require infrequent, occasional travel
