Inbound Lead Pharmacy Technician

The Inbound Lead Pharmacy Technician will be hands-on in a start-up operation and will build and maintain relationships with hourly team members in our Dallas, TX Pharmacy Fulfillment Center. This individual will be responsible for leading a team in the receipt, putaway, and inventory management functions. Responsible for driving established productivity, labor and quality objectives. This person will be someone who likes change and enjoys getting into the details to drive improvements every single day. You'll be successful in this role because you're passionate about supporting your team and recognize their effort and achievements. 

What you'll do:  

  • Lead inbound and inventory management functions while working closely with operations manager to complete tasks efficiently and accurately 
  • Handle the fast pace day-to-day operations in an E-Commerce distribution environment while maintaining a positive, motivating leadership presence 
  • Lead a team of hourly associates in Inbound / Inventory Control operations within the Pharmacy 
  • Develop and execute daily, weekly and monthly action plans that increase quality, inventory accuracy and service 
  • Observe employee activities and provide frequent and consistent feedback and positive reinforcement on safety, quality of work, productivity and attitude 
  • Utilize the Rx and WMS software systems to complete inventory receipts, cycle counts, and adjustments 
  • Ensure that standards are established and followed 
  • Plan and execute cycle counts as described in each area of the facility 
  • Establish and Maintain Inventory handling procedures within the building 
  • Communicate with internal and external partners as well as executive leadership team 
  • Follow up to ensure compliance and consistency for policies and procedures surrounding Inventory Control and Quality 

What you'll need:  

  • CPhT licensed Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Technician Trainee in the state of Texas.
  • 1-2 years inventory management or inbound receipt experience 
  • Experience with building or improving inventory management, order management, and warehouse management systems and processes 
  • Metrics driven mindset 
  • Effective communicator and leader for employees, cross-functional teams and executive leadership 
  • Highest levels of integrity and ethics 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills and strong attention to detail 
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to include nights and weekends if business require it
