We're a logistics company, directing a fleet of riders around major cities across the globe using a dedicated native app. We're a partner to restaurants and to grocery businesses, who see us as a way to unlock access to new customers and thus maximise revenue. And we're a home for numerous teams that build internally facing tools across customer service, finance, and others, to keep Deliveroo operations running smoothly.

The Incentives team is responsible for consumer facing promotions on the Deliveroo app. These promotions deliver value to Deliveroo consumers while also helping our Restaurant, Grocery and Retail partners grow. For example, some users might receive £5 off their next Deliveroo order and others might receive a Free Item from a specific restaurant if they spend above a minimum threshold at that restaurant. We are building a scalable and highly optimised incentives platform that leverages machine learning to target consumers with the right promotion at the right time. We are also responsible for the in app user journeys around the discovery and redemption of promotions. This team also owns tooling and capabilities that allow local markets and other teams within Deliveroo to run their own optimised promo campaigns in order to grow Deliveroo’s business. 

What you'll be doing

  • Lead on the campaign planning and prioritisation process, from quarterly planning across markets of key campaigns down to execution planning with marketers, engineers and data scientists
  • Execute flawless incentives campaigns, partnering with engineers, data science, CRM and local marketers
  • Be the go-to expert on all things incentives, helping markets leverage our capabilities and guiding them on their campaign approach and choice of mechanic
  • Work in collaboration with Data Science to distil learnings on campaign performance and share these across markets to maximise the value of every campaign
  • Lead go-to-market for our key product roll-outs, bridging the gap between Tech and commercial teams to drive awareness, adoption and satisfaction with incentive capabilities

Requirements

Our preferred candidate would have most or all of the following:

  • 3+ years experience working in marketing, promotions or the go-to market space
  • Operationally focused with experience in planning and managing campaigns or initiatives
  • Hands-on experience of using marketing, campaign or promotions tooling
  • Adept in stakeholder management with experience of this across teams or markets
  • Enthusiastic about building deep understanding of capabilities and sharing knowledge
  • A track record of working with technology and business teams to successfully drive adoption of products
