Role summary
Payoneer is seeking a Incident and Crisis Response Manager. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of business continuity, incident management and crisis management in fintech to join the Enterprise Risk and Resilience team. The team is a critical driver of Payoneer’s success, balancing smart risk management and providing the infrastructure for the company’s ambitious growth goals. It’s a team that provides strategic insights to Payoneer´s business leaders during and after incidents by creating and making available resources for swift incident response.
The purpose of the role is to support the Business Continuity program to enhance current capabilities for incident management and business continuity leading the implementation of new initiatives as well as lesson learned from previous events. The Business Continuity Program Manager will report into the Business Continuity Director.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive the simplification and standardization of processes and procedures to ensure consistent execution during incidents and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) activations, with a focus on governance and adherence to organizational standards.
- Lead the implementation of tools that support incident response, business continuity and resilience programs, enhancing governance, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and escalation capabilities.
- Promote best practices by developing and sharing accessible resources that enable consistent application of incident response, business continuity, operational resiliency and crisis management protocols across the organization.
- Foster a culture of continual service improvement by analyzing performance metrics and trends to identify opportunities for enhancing incident management and business continuity processes.
- Oversee the end-to-end incident management process, ensuring timely resolution, minimal disruption to services, and alignment with organizational resilience objectives.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to diagnose and resolve issues, facilitate clear communication with stakeholders, and ensure effective support during activations led by the Enterprise Risk and Resilience team.
- Conduct post-incident reviews to identify root causes, document lessons learned and implement measures to prevent recurrence while improving response protocols.
- Provide regular updates to management on incident trends and performance metrics, leveraging robust reporting to support decision-making and organizational resilience efforts.
- Ensure timely completion of post-incident activities by coordinating with internal teams and integrating feedback into ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Complete operational resiliency assessments including critical business service mappings.
- Establish structured governance frameworks for incident response, business continuity, and crisis management, emphasizing analysis, monitoring, and escalation to reinforce program effectiveness.
Who you are:
- 6+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: incident management, information security, data management and privacy, IT operations and infrastructure, business continuity, crisis management, IT project delivery, or major incident management
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and implementing governance, analysis, monitoring, reporting, and escalation processes within incident response, business continuity, or crisis management programs
- Strong understanding of resilience frameworks, including FFIEC guidelines, and familiarity with regulations such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) and Operational Resiliency
- Experience in financial institutions is preferred, with an emphasis on operational risk management and incident response in regulated environments
- Qualifications or certifications in Business Continuity Institute (BCI), Project Management Institute (PMI), ITIL, or equivalent are a plus
- Proven ability to influence senior management and cross-functional teams, breaking down silos and fostering knowledge sharing across business units
- Resilient and composed under pressure, demonstrating empathy and effective decision-making during crises or high-pressure situations
- Objective thinker with sound judgment, capable of analyzing complex situations, solving problems effectively, and balancing competing priorities
- Flexible and adaptable to organizational changes, continuously seeking to improve processes and support evolving business needs

In accordance with New York City Law, below is the annual base salary range for this position. Actual annual base salary is based on, but not limited to: experience, education, professional licenses, location and business needs. The position is eligible for health insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, 401k plan, paid-time off, and sick (and where applicable safe) leave. This position is also eligible for a discretionary year-end bonus. The annual base salary range for this position is: $120,000-$145,000
